In collaboration with medical student volunteers from UMass Chan Medical School, we will offer free information sessions on skin cancer prevention and skin safety education. Two separate levels will be available.
The introductory presentation will cover basic scientific knowledge, the science behind tattoos, and how to prevent skin cancer.
The artist-facing session will cover skin anatomy, considerations, and recommendations for tattoos from a medical perspective.
All are welcome to attend, free skincare samples and wound care products will also be provided.
